   We loved the ambiance. The gnocchi Mac and cheese was amazing! My husband had the duck and said it was a little overcooked. My branzino was very delicious!

   Nice space. Limited menu. Arancini balls were small but tasty. Salad was big enough for two. Short rib with polenta was outstanding. Nice piece of branzino was well cooked. Disappointed in the beignets as they tasted on the stale side. Noise level was more than energetic. Difficult to have a conversation without raising one's voice.

   I had very high expectations of this restaurant and sadly they were not met. There were some positives- the bread and butter was AMAZING. The arancini were very well made (I personally hate truffle but my companion wolfed them down). The service was good. While the ambience was great, the noise levels were too high to easily have a conversation. The remaining food didn't meet my expectations. I didn't enjoy the burrata - I didn't understand why it was with a cold slab of roast squash, and the sauce had an odd taste. The gnocchi mac and cheese was good, but way too big a serve for an appetiser. I had the pork chop which was insanely large. It was tasty around the edges but it looked pretty raw in the middle. My companion had the cauliflower which could have been delicious but was essentially just half a cauliflower on a plate with a few garnishes - no real flavour had been developed in the cauliflower itself. The entrees were so huge we couldn't finish them so we opted to skip dessert Overall I found this very overpriced for the food quality. I won't be back.

   Butter was a fantastic restaurant. We made our reservation at 5:00 to make sure we’d make it to our show that had doors open at 7:00. The service was friendly and attentive and we had our meal and were out by 6:00. They were very kind in not trying to rush us out, but it was the exact dinner experience we were looking for! We had the beef Wellington and the Duck Confit. Both dishes were outstanding.

   Had the gnocchi Mac and cheese and boneless beef short rib with polenta. The gnocchi was delicious as was the short rib. Beignets filled with raspberry jam with a vanilla dipping sauce was also good. Sat at the bar because I was a solo diner. Bartender (Alonso?) was excellent and friendly. Great location for broadway shows, very good comfort food. Not inexpensive, appetizers $20-$30, main dishes $40-$50, desserts $12-$20 range.

   The restaurant ambience and atmosphere was great. For appetizers we had the tuna tartare and red and green oak salad, both wonderful. For dinner we ordered the salmon and a pasta appetizer to spilt. The salmon was good but not great. The Cavatappi Pasta was awesome. For desert we had the figs and Raspberry Beignets, OMG! So good! Will definitely come back but will not order the salmon. Server was attentive and nice. Way too long between appetizers and dinner though, we ordered everything at the same time.

    The staff was accommodating when entered. They were concerned with my reservation and were able to change to dining room. Enjoyed the experience! Flavours did not disappoint and service was amazing!
