   The restaurant sat us 30 minutes after our 8:30PM reservation, and I am fairly certain they gave our table to the wrong group. The manager had to get involved to avoid the wait lasting another 15 minutes. We also put a note about this being a birthday dinner, but did not receive any recognition of that during the meal whereas other tables did have birthday candles brought out. The server also misguided us on the size of the apps vs entrees, so we ended up over ordering. That said, the food was excellent, but the service did not match the price of the food.

   Delicious meal, the duck was prepared perfectly the branzino was light and delicious in the lemon sauce. Raspberry beignets not to be missed

   We had a wonderful experience at Butter. The staff was so friendly and efficient. The food was excellent. The rolls were insanely light and fluffy. The veal bacon was perfect. The burrata was good but I don’t know if we would get it again. Our entrees were the short ribs and the salmon, both cooked perfectly and great portions. And we ended with the raspberry beignets which were light and fluffy and full of flavor. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

   Butter is a go to for me whenever I am in midtown. The cuisine, cocktails & service are always superb. Enjoyed the Parker house roles, acorn squash & Burata, short ribs & duck. No room for dessert this time!

   Was very impressed the food and service. My water glass never went empty and the staff was very sharp, crumbing after every service and promptly providing share plates and the correct silverware.

   Pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious. My husband and I were shocked by the amount of food we got. Very generous portions. Price was reasonable. Everything was unique. We’d definitely come back again next time we’re in New York and I’d definitely recommend for a date night or outing with friends

   Our waitress was super nice and the food was great! I would highly recommend. We were able to walk to the theatre after.

    Chef Alex, we need to talk. This place feels like it’s running on autopilot. The entry resembles a neglected warehouse, and if that’s intentional, it’s not landing. Inside, the decor feels tired, with scuffed tables, peeling paint on wall panels, and mismatched cutlery. But the real disappointment lies with the cauliflower dish. The base sauce clashes with the coconut milk “filling,” and the cauliflower steak itself lacks flavor. The squash rings had potential but were weighed down by excessive grease. I’m a big fan, Chef, but a restaurant with your name deserves better.
