   Food at 501 is always good, and you can always count on a nice evening. We have eaten here many times, and we are never disappointed. The Santa Fe chicken is a favorite, and the 501 salad is the best in town.

   The food and service were great. I enjoyed one of their new menu items which I really enjoyed. I unfortunately had a dessert that was way too sweet and not very good. I wish they would offer seasonal desserts and rotate their dessert options.

   I ordered the chicken cordon bleu and broccolini. It was fabulous! The salad dressing on my salad was too thin. My husband ordered the short ribs and stated the center was cold. He also said it was more like eating a pot roast. I’m not sure what the difference is. The server was wonderful. However, we probably won’t be back.

   Service was excellent. Food was very good. I got the eggs Benedict, my wife got the skillet scramble (substituted gravy for the queso sauce). Good portion size. Table shared the candied bacon for an appetizer - that was fantastic as well. Got noisy as were leaving (it was busy). We will return.

   We found Cafe 501 several years ago via an internet search and it continues to delight us every time we visit Edmond. This trip we enjoyed the teriyaki salmon and the lemon risotto with shrimp. Timara, our server, was great. Upsides are the food, people and wine list. Small downsides are the noise level and close proximity of neighboring tables. But that's what happens at popular spots!

   We were there for Sunday brunch, and had trouble picking from the tasty choices on the brunch menu. I had the breakfast hash, another had the eggs Benedict, and the third had sampler (wanted quiche, but sold out, so go early if that’s what you want). All were prepared swiftly, presented nicely, and delicious. We'll definitely be returning!
