Terrific waitstaff (Aya) and lovely ambience. She was attentive and personable. Food arrived in a timely manner. The deviled eggs were delicious. The yolks were very creamy and flavorful. We shared a lobster/shrimp salad. Tasty with chunks of lobster, crab, green beans and egg. A little too much dressing (should have asked for dressing on the side), but it was very good. Have been here before and would go back again.

We had a very nice brunch at Cafe de la Press before the matinee at the Curran. I had the French Onion soup and shared a chicken salad. The soup was perfect and as expected. The salad was just okay...but good for sharing to get started. Others had the benedict and truly enjoy. A few had croissants....both regular and almond and said they were delicious. A long-time classic SF restaurant that keeps delivering.

I made a reservation for an early business dinner and it was confirmed by the restaurant. But when I got to the restaurant, it was closed even though, according to the hours posted on the front door, it should have been open. This caused considerable stress and inconvenience as I had to find a restaurant quickly for 4 people arriving separately. I thought this demonstrated a lack of professionalism and courtesy by the restaurant.

Nice place to eat if in China Town. Good service, interesting location but food was fine for a bistro, not a higher end French restaurant.

The service was great. The food was delicious. We sat outside at the very French cafe tables & had a great time.

Got the exact table I was hoping for. Wine recommendation was good. We all order flat whites after dinner and it was one of the best coffees we’ve ever had! (And I’m picky when it comes to coffee.)
