                                      CAfe Normandie is one of our favorite restaurants, and they didn't disappoint for Christmas Eve dinner. Diverse menu mad it difficult to choose. Food was outstanding.

                                      What a find! A very authentic feel and menu. We didn't want to do a 5th ave type restaurant and I read other reviews on open table ending up with deciding on Normandie. It was a great choice. Very authentic feeling with French (Canadian? or France? not sure) owners. They had a great menu and specials for the night. We went for my son's birthday and he is very picky, but he loved it.

                                      The menu was well-explained and varied and the specials afforded even more choice. My scallop and shrimp dish with a creamy Leek sauce was excellent as was my partner’s fish special. Our dessert choice, a colonel, is one I have had many times in France. Always a tart lemon sorbet topped with a shot of vodka. This one was an oddly colored green, lime sorbet which was surprisingly sweet. Overall we had a very enjoyable experience and will continue to return

                                      We have always enjoyed the food in this restaurant. For my husbands birthday on 17 th we were very disappointed in the main course which had very poorly flavored and consistency of the vegetables and steak in my husbands main course.First the potato Gratin was served cold . Then when replaced with a warmer version, it seemed dry and flavorless . The carrots were hard and undercooked . Somehow, over all something had changed that night. Was it the Christmas busy season to blame? We hope this is not the start of a restaurant becoming a victim of its own hitherto success. We hope too, that things will be better in the New Year with a return to the previous high standards we have come to enjoy.

                                      My wife and I eat here often. Our most recent visit for dinner last Saturday was outstanding as always. Some weeks we eat at Cafe Normandie multiple times. This is, in my opinion, the best French restaurant in Naples. This is a wonderful family run restaurant where the highly skilled chef runs the kitchen and his lovely wife runs the front of the house. They value your business and their food and service is always proof of their commitment to excellence. If you haven’t eaten at Cafe Normandie make a reservation today and see what my wife and I have known since the first time we ate there a few years ago…. It’s a hidden gem on the Naples culinary scene.
