  • Great for outdoor dining
  • Good for special occasions
  • Neighbourhood gem
Café Rouge St Katharine Dock is a truly unique restaurant. Its stunning location on the quayside - overlooking the only marina in Central London, is in the shadow of some of London's most famous landmarks, including Tower Bridge and The Tower of London. The interior is equally as impressive with a nautical theme, and features inspired by our love of St Tropez throughout. St Katharine Dock is a treasure trove of boutique shops, restaurants, bars and amenities. If you're visiting, you may want to see the Crown Jewels at The Tower of London, take a boat trip along the River Thames or walk across Tower Bridge to City Hall.

Recently visited on a Saturday evening. The food was lovely, we had a table near the window so had a good view of the docklands. The service was good and it had a really nice atmosphere. We will be visiting again when we are next in London for the day.

Was using a £10 wine and dine deal. Would have been disappointed if it were more expensive but the deal was good for what it was. Would like to try it again another time and order something else from the menu

My friend and I enjoyed a relaxed afternoon there on Friday and returned on Saturday morning for Breakfast. The staff were fabulous and provide the right level of interaction, engagement and humour, which really added to our experience. The food was great quality and really good value for money. We would not hesitate to return - thank you!

For a premium brand like Cafe Rouge to allow their standards to fall to this level is very sad. The staff at this particular branch are untrained, non-attentive and rude. We were moved twice before we finally found a table that we were satisfied with, the others being practically in the bathrooms or by the (wide-open) front door on a cold October evening. This when there was hardly anyone else in the restaurant. The food, when it arrived, was sloppily served and presented poorly. My wife's steak was inedible. The wine was dumped, unopened on the table. We sorted ourselves out. Dinner for four, with two bottles of wine, was a rather pricey 180 quid. It slipped our notice that 15% had been added to the bill for service. Criminal. Honestly, there are so many alternatives in the area do yourself a favour and give these wide berth. I'll never go to cafe Rouge again.

Well, it started fine but there only two waiting staff (who were exceptionally busy but quite brilliant.) Starters arrived when ordered, wine had to be prompted but the mains took forever and were barely OK. Crepe was not cooked properly, sauces were lukewarm - wine was excellent but we won't return because the chain can't cope with a full house.

We all arrived very early but were made very welcome nevertheless. The service in Cafe Rouge was excellent and the food very good. We all enjoyed ourselves very much. We have been to this particular branch several times and find it by far one of the best ones.

I would not recommend Café Rouge. The service initially was slow but improved when a relatively new member of staff began to serve us; the food poor quality & poor value for money; even the salad was not put together with all the ingredients. The only positive was a half decent bottle of Picpoul de Pinet

Great location. Very good value with a voucher. Service could've been better though. Hardly any staff and it was a very busy evening.
