Something is happening here at Caleb’s. The food, once outstanding, is not as good as it once was. I ordered the “3 Scoops” which I’ve seen others get and which seemed really great. But it wasn’t. The egg salad was just kind of strange but the shrimp salad—I am not exaggerating—was 3 mini canned shrimp with chopped tomato. That’s it. It was beyond disappointing. Everyone who had them liked their omelettes and another liked their special frittata. The coffee was not hot. My husband’s omelette was watery—they hadn’t drained the spinach? Not sure we will rush to return.

I always enjoy meals at Caleb's. While this is not the place for a quiet, elevated experience (definitely not white table cloth), it is clean, fun, not overcrowded, and delivers consistently superior food from an interesting menu. My latest visit was Sunday brunch followed by some shopping at Peddler's Village. Service was friendly and fast. The Eggs Benedict did not disappoint. I highly recommend Caleb's for a casual meal whether it be breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner. It is a byob, so remember to bring your own wine etc.

Its been a few years and while we were excited to go back, it was a disappointment on a few levels... menu is a bit uninspired, food was not cooked completely, servers were bringing the courses out too fast and while still eating the course. Might be better for a lunch or breakfast, dinner might be some time before we go back there are many great options in the area.

I never felt so rushed during a meal in my life. We had been told the kitchen was closing for lunch and we needed to order which was no problem. I specifically asked our server if we needed to be out by a certain time and she said no that we could stay till 5 o’clock for when dinner starts. After we got our food, we had no less than three different people come to our table multiple and try to take the food that we were eating asking if we were finished. Everyone was nice but definitely felt like we were getting pushed to be so they could set up for dinner that started in an hour and a half. They even brought the bill and said they had to close out till. I honestly don’t even realize if they knew how pushy they were being. Ambiance was nice and food was good but I don’t have any plans to go back. Tip, don’t make a late reservation for their lunch menu.
