This casual, upscale restaurant offers innovative American cuisine including the freshest seafood from the Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic and Pacific, great steaks from Allen Brothers in Chicago, and regional and seasonal specialties. Daily lunch and dinner specials feature local ingredients whenever possible. The Heights burger can be paired with hand cut French fries, crispy thin onion rings, homemade lemon-pepper potato chips or German potato salad. There is an outdoor patio under a canopy of oak trees that's shady and extremely popular with locals and visitors to San Antonio. The brunch offered on Saturdays and Sundays features a menu of classic egg dishes, Texas pot roast, jumbo lump crab cake, seasonal "out of the blue" seafood entrees, entree salads, and Mustang chicken. Cappy's has an ever-changing, dynamic and well-priced wine list, with great choices by the glass or bottle. Full bar.

    Our server Bri was super sweet and made good recommendations. Only 1 suggestion, offer the basket of bead at the beginning of the visit.

    The menu has old favorites and delicious new discoveries. We have been going there for over 30 years. Our reservation was for noon on Christmas Eve. We were seated quickly had an excellent waiter. We asked if we could order both lunch and food to go to have for dinner. They said yes!! This is not always an option and were prepared to gracefully accept no for an answer, but we are delighted they said yes. We are so happy to have Cappy's delicious food for dinner tonight as well. All the food is very good but the warm chocolate cake is worth fighting over, and the sticky toffee pudding is truly delicious.

    For more than 20 years, Capoy's has been our go-to for special occasions or just a fun night out. It pains me to say that last not was not just disappointing, I feel let down. It wasn't just one thing either, but I do think the biggest let down was the food. It will be a long time before I go back to what used to be my favorite place in the neighborhood.

    Another fun dining experience at Cappy’s. Chloe was our server and she didn’t disappoint, she was on top of everything. Food was delicious and arrived hot and as ordered. Cappy’s never disappoints!

    Cappy’s has become the annual meeting spot for our early friends’ Christmas dinner. It’s a lovely experience from beginning to end. A true San Antonio treasure.
