Carli's Fine Bistro & Piano located in the heart of historic Old San Juan Puerto Rico was born on December 27, 1998, as a place where locals and international patrons could gather to enjoy a unique live musical and fine dining experience in a relaxed atmosphere.

We have world-class live music nightly: Monday's and Thursdays we have jazz music at around 6:30 pm, and on Tue, Wed, Th, Friday & Saturday we have Jazz Piano from 8 PM, and on Saturday's, a Classic Rock Duo, from 6:30 PM.

Nested on the plaza level of the historic art deco Banco Popular building, Carli's warm and artistic vibe will charm you while you savor exotic assortments of gourmet tapas and exquisite international entrees, or sip on your favorite martini from our classic bar on our main room or under the stars with a view of the SJ Bay.

I made reservation and showed up to find restaurant was closed. If there was a power outage at least update OpenTable. I was left scrambling to find alternative.

The chef is extremely talented and our tuna with special mint sauce was delicious. Amazing food and I was impressed with our waitress Maria. She’s friendly and attentive. I’m happy that there is a new wait staff. They are much friendly.

Waiter spilled tray of glasses of red wine down my back as he walked behind me and never apologized - in fact he blamed me! Owner played piano which was lovely but don’t dare talk during or he will throw his hand up in the air and stop and say he can’t continue and give you nasty looks for being loud! Horrible evening! Horrible experience! Don’t go!

Our server was great from the start. He got us a table immediately and was cracking jokes throughout the experience. We could tell he loves what he does and respects the owner of Carli’s.

Such of nice cozy place speakeasy rest and bar right in front of Old San Juan cruise ports. Food was amazing and Mr. Carli Munoz such of nice gentleman which by the way is an amazing piano performance!!! 100% recommended!!

This was a delightful local place with excellent food and outstanding service. The hostess was wonderful, carefully watching the weather and moving us inside when it started to rain. Great music and a delightful ambience. We unfortunately missed the piano player, but had some very nice classic rock on guitar and keyboard in its place. Quite a charming experience.
