Haven’t been in years, was happy to be back! However, one table of 6 drunk boomers was so loud and obnoxious, it really detracted from our meal. I recognize it’s a tough situation for the staff, but the noise level was too high for our comfort.

We came here for my birthday and everything was just as how I remembered it. I haven’t been here since the pandemic and they did some new paint and remodel and the place looks fabulous. The food, service, and hospitality was all excellent. Our server knew the menu and even told us the specials. He was very careful and making sure we hear what he said because the noise level at the restaurant was extremely loud. I believe there was a couple of celebrations there with large parties so the night that we went is not their usual noise level. I am happy to come back again very soon

Chef Philippe is so kind. He sent us an amuse bouche—a comforting but light cauliflower The food is unpretentious but the artistry and care put into every dish blows overhyped restaurants of the water. Highly recommend the cassoulet! My date wanted to try it, but I think I liked more than him. He also got the ratatouille, which he had been craving for a while and this hit the spot!

Had a wonderful experience for our anniversary celebration. The food and service were great. We were greeted by the owner when we arrived…old world charm. We will be back!

Incredible experience with personalized and friendly service! The staff made us feel special all night and the food was superb! Chapeau celebrated their 28th Anniversary while we celebrated our 7th! What a lovely gem in our neighborhood!
