Char Steakhouse's innovative cuisine features only the finest cuts of Dry Aged and Prime Beef with fish delivered fresh daily. Guests will dine by landscaped views revealed by towering windows. Mahogany wood walls and ceiling treatments create an authentic steakhouse environment rivaled by none in the New Jersey dining scene. Unique features include four modern fireplaces that are the first of their kind, a curved wall of water that rains serenity in the aptly named Rain Room. Guests can enjoy 7 cuts of the finest quality dry aged beef or snack on oysters and colossal blue crab from our premier raw bar. Seating in the lounge is offered on a first come first serve basis or party goers can reserve arched custom booths for up to twelve. Char did not disappoint. Steak was perfectly cooked. Apps were delicious as were our sides. The service was excellent as well. A little pricey but well worth it.

We go to a Char every couple of months. I always get the filet and lobster and love their famous popovers! The specialty cocktails and wine selection are all excellent and the service is exceptional. My husband enjoys the raw bar and Ribeye.

If you love crab cakes, his is the place for you! this is the second time I have ordered crab cakes and they were still outstanding. I convinced my friends to try them and they loved them too! The service is great and the atmosphere was lively. We will be ack!

We went to celebrate my wife's bday. The food, service, ambiance were top-notch. Our waiter, Daniel, was very attentive without being overbearing. Overall, a wonderful night!

I didn't know what to expect since it was our first time there. Great environment and the place itself was nice and neat since it was night time so don't know about daytime. The food was delicious 🤤. I had crab cake and bone in steak and my lady had lamb chops and Mack and cheese. The dishes were delicious. The crab cake was a small portion and price was a little high but delicious. Overall it was a great experience and i recommended for a date night out.

Everything was fantastic. Our waiter Pierre I believe was his name. He was phenomenal. We had Calamari, Bacon, Delmonico, Kanas City, potatoes gratin, stuffed mushrooms and Dessert was Sorbet Mango delish the cheese cake and cookies with ice cream. Amazing we will be back.
