   Just had the Fourth of July buffet and to be frank I feel cheated. We frequent this restaurant and this was the first year they changed their menu for the 4th to a sort of barbecue . What a joke! 38 dollars to get choice of burger and brisket and salad!! I wish atleast it was good burgers, it tasted like nothing, like a sponge, no flavor. Dessert choice was a grand selection of 3 items!!! But we mainly went there to watch fireworks which was good as usual, I certainly hope management will consider going back to their old ways and serve real buffet food worthy of JW brand. Otherwise I will go next year only for fireworks and skip dinner .

   Ate at the 4th of July Buffet. The food was absolutely horrible. Nothing tasted fresh. All of it looked like it had been cooked ahead hours before. Disappointing

   The July 4th holiday BBQ food was TERRIBLE!!! I really can’t believe this was a JW Marriott offering. The burgers was burnt hockey pucks, the pork sandwiches had very little meat. The chicken tenders were tough and completely dried out. The sides were marginally ok but somewhat sparse. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESPECIALLY AT $37-$38 per person.

   The hotel is of course fabulous, however, the restaurant may be better suited for a breakfast/brunch dining experience versus a barbecue. The buffet was $45/person and while the menu said cocktails included they were an additional $15 so that felt like a miscommunication, additionally the BBQ was just OK. Probably the highlights were the brisket sandwich, as the Texas toast was good and so was the corn muffin. So for food nothing stood out as exceptional. Now what we did appreciate was the folks who worked there from the front desk person who was very pleasant and had us seated right away to the person at the bbq station who heard us mention bacon and to our surprise brought us some so that was a delight! With the exception of our server who didn’t do some basic things like fill up our water or ask how we were doing, everyone else was customer service focused. Lastly, perhaps some of my favorite highlights here was the live musician who jammed out the entire time, and of course the location. We were able to catch fireworks afterward which was a nice treat.

   The buffet was excellent I was just a little disappointed in the food offering since it was Mother's Day . I was under the expectation that since it was Mother's Day it was going to be a larger selection of food. The only offering was breakfast which appeared to be their typical breakfast buffet. There was no prime rib carving station or lunch options or desserts . While I did enjoy breakfast I would have enjoyed some lunch options as well. The other thing that was a. bother was my reservation was at 1145 had I know that brunch was over by 1230pm I wouldn't haven't picked this location for a Mother's Day brunch. I feel like for the price I paid I really didn't get my time and money's worth. We had to kinda rush thru our meal before they shut down the buffet.

    Very good buffet (that we got for free as a result of our hotel package.) A couple of low points: Even though we made a reservation weeks in advance, we were still required to wait in the very long line to be seated, along with others who did not have a reservation. Then, we were seated in the "back room" which lacks ambience and feels like a bland hotel conference room. On the plus side, the options on the buffet were above average and frequently restocked.
