A new generation of Italian cuisine - fresh, light and authentic. By using proper cooking techniques, our flavors are natural and pure. Our menu is a homage to our region Calabria and southern Italian roots reflecting what is being served in Italy today. You can also find an extensive vegan menu that incorporates many of the best Italian dishes. We have been the first restaurant in the USA to have a full Italian Vegan menu since 2015! We believe in sustainability, both in our food and in the design of our restaurant. While our menu focuses on locally grown and seasonal ingredients, our bar and dining areas were created using reclaimed, natural materials. Nothing goes to waste at Civico 1845!

    I am a vegetarian who tends toward vegan and absolutely love the vegan menu here. I ate out with meat eaters who were just as happy with their meal as I was. It shouldn’t be so hard to find vegan Italian, but it is—thank you, Civico 1845, for setting such a high standard for omnivores and vegans alike!

    Mostly a miss -very surprised with all of the great reviews - wasn't bad but won't return. First two of us ordered the salad "Insalata Fresca" but both were missing the pomegranates and watermelon radishes listed on the menu. When I mentioned it to the server (quite young male) he just said "would I like another one." Odd response as I'd eaten half of the salad and couldn't understand if both were missing the items another one would be better. I would have suggested he tell the manager but we were guests of the other couple and I didn't want to make a big deal of it. But very odd. then the Fusilli alla Normal was good but after eating it for a short while it became quite "sticky" and dry - not enough sauce to support the pasta by any means. The service was just fine - the young male server seemed very new, never came to ask how we were doing or if we wanted anything else. We had 5:30 reservations to have some quiet and by 6:30 it was very NOISY. We were happy to leave at 7 when we finished. Such a disappointment.

    Was initially disappointed that the traditional vegan lasagna and vegan Caesar salad were no longer on the menu, but - the squash blossoms and mushroom lasagna were really delicious! Will be back!

    Excellent experience. Every dish was prepared with fresh high quality ingredients and were so delicious! James our server was awesome and knew the menu inside and out, providing excellent recommendations!Food prices were very reasonable. Highly recommended.
