Situated in the Historic Warehouse District, the Cleveland Chop is located at 824 West St Clair between W 6th and W 9th street. Amazing food and service! This was our first trip to Cleveland so we looked on Trip Advisor for a recommendation. We loved it. Friendly servers. Comfortable atmosphere.

In town on business, wasn’t very crowded, Mediocre overall, service was iffy, waited fifteen minutes before a waiter came over, food was okay, l expected more from a $50 plus ribeye steak. It was cooked right but very fatty and had some gristle. Waiter forgot our soups, made up for providing us free dessert which was very good but still would have rather had the soup. Not sure i would return as there are other options within a block.

The food was absolute AMAZING!!! I’m so glad we chose to try this place out while in town. The steak just melted in my mouth, the lobster tail and spinach was perfection, and the cornbread… OMG delicious! The food was PERFECTION

My steak was practically raw when I asked for medium rare. It had zero flavor, I shouldn’t have to salt a steak at a steakhouse. They say on their website that dress code is enforced yet there were people in there in hoodies and crocs. The table corn bread was flavorless. The shrimp in the pasta dish was clearly frozen shrimp. The calamari was more breading than calamari and the ‘wasabi’ cream just tasted like mayo. Highly highly disappointed in this restaurant.

My wife and I were in Cleveland for the weekend. Decided to dine at Cleveland Chop since it was close to our Hotel. What a great decision. This place is a Downtown Cleveland Gem. This place is a 10 out of 10. We had the Fried Calamari as our appetizer. Didn’t think it was possible to get Calamari that good outside of New York and New Jersey. The Tomahawk Pork Chop was incredible. Ended the meal with a delicious piece of Carrot Cake that was the size of a Volkswagen! Also great cocktails and service. Scott & MJ
