Our family had a lovely dinner overlooking the center of peddlers village and the holiday lights. The food was delicious and the holiday drinks were perfect. I tried the Holiday Flirtini and my husband tried the Cider. Our daughter is still speaking about the Palermo Rigatoni. The beef burgundy was tender and tasty. We look forward to returning the next time we’re in town.

The food was not good and overpriced. My son & husband got Ceasar salad as an appetizer and it was 5 small pieces of lettuce with barely any dressing. Husband's crab cakes were burnt as was my son's burger. I got chicken schnitzel that was soggy. Never again!

Had a great experience w five of us including a 4 and 9 yr old. Service was fantastic, food was good (burger, stuffed flounder) drinks very good. Able to accommodate us w a view of the lights and not too crowded.

The food that we had at The Cock and Bull was outstanding. I had the Beef Burgundy. It came out in a stoneware crock and was absolutely delicious and was nice and hot. My wife had one of the Specials (it was supposed to be lobster over risotto, but the waitress said the lobster was frozen so they were doing scallops in lieu of the lobster). No matter, my wife loved it as well. Another person in our party had the Chicken Schnitzel (my second choice) and he said it was awesome as well. All in all the food was excellent. The service on the other hand was not so stellar. We started off great, with our server, Bernadette, coming over to the table not too long after we were seated. Our drink order was put in and received in a timely manner as well. The food order was a little slower to be put in and received, but definitely worth the wait. It was after the food was received that our server disappeared. We sat with empty plates for nearly 30 minutes before she returned. She definitely appeared to be very busy and a bit flustered. At that point we just asked for our check so we could finish our meal in under 2 hours.

Nice views during the holidays and the server was very pleasant, but 50+ mins for food to come out (for a very small group on a weeknight), and for that food to come out at room temperature/cool...not a great experience. We had a similar experience last time we dined here as well. After years of going here, don't think we'll be returning...which is sad, because I really want the place to be good!

Although not crowded, the service was horrible. I had to get up and find the water pitcher bc the waitress never came back to check on us or refill drinks. Food was mediocre. The NY Strip was undercooked and full of fat. We had 2 Beef Burgundy entrees and both of those were full of fat and grizzle. We hadn’t been in years but we won’t be going back.
