The Columbia is Florida’s Oldest RestaurantSM, founded in Tampa's historic Ybor City in 1905. Family-owned and operated for 119 years, the restaurant has earned acclaim for old-world charm as well as for its award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine and wine list.

Open 365 days a year, including all holidays and serving lunch and dinner daily.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the dining room.

Experience the Fire of Flamenco!
Flamenco Dance Shows: There is an $10 cover charge per person for guests over the age of 12.

Monday through Thursday dinner reservation times for the 7 p.m. show are 5:30, 6 or 6:30 p.m.

Friday and Saturday dinner reservations for the 7 p.m. show are 5:30, 6 or 6:30 p.m. and for the 9:30 p.m. show, seatings are at 8:30 or 9 p.m.

Reservations for dinner and the show are required. Please call the restaurant to check availability for reservations.

    It took about 15 minutes for Chris S. to make it to our table. Once he did, he poured/mixed the tableside white sangria that we ordered with an assistant of his, and then disappeared for another 10 minutes before he made it back to take our order. Luckily, I have been there before, so I was able to make some suggestions regarding the menu because he gave no recommendations, no menu tour, just straight to taking orders. I absolutely love the Columbia and have been going since I was a child. I raved about it to my three guests (two from out of town) who had never been. The food and ambiance always live up to the billing, but it was just a bit disappointing that our service was a bit underwhelming.

    Great experience, food was fantastic, seevice was great even for being so busy. For a large table of people, it was hard to hear anyone across the table. Really interesting and eclectic decor, and loved the ambiance and live music. Would definitely return.

    We had 5 in attendance. This was my first time dining there. The food and service was very good. It was unfortunately very noisy and we couldn't hear anyone in our party to have any type of conversation without almost yelling. That was the only minus. Otherwise it was enjoyable.

    We all love the food at the Columbia but the chairs in the patio area are HORRIBLE. The most uncomfortable chairs ever. Hard seat, hard backs and way too low to the ground. I am short and they were miserable. I could barely last through the meal without my back killing me.

    4pm reservation. Didn’t get seated until 435. No one spoke to us then until 445. Had to flag a server, who turned out to be awesome, but front end of experience was very disappointing. Bread great, salad great , empanadas very good, ….entrees were good.

    It was delicious as always. I love the black bean cakes and 1912 salad. We tried a different dish, polllo Manchego and pretty sure it will be my go to meal now. And we got white sangria instead of red this time and liked it too. We love the Columbia Restaurant. Fortunately we made a reservation as it was packed at 3:00 with an hour wait for a table

    We had a great time at the restaurant. The receptionists, the server and staff were all pleasant and welcoming! The restaurant and its decor were outstandiing. The meals were great! We were so happy to experience this place in Ybor!
