Service was friendly, very slow. It took a long time for salad dressing, bread and water refill, and take out dessert. Bread was soggy on prime rib sandwich, side vegetables were cold with entrees. Okay, but not great especially for the price.

Great ambiance and decorations. Timely service. Tri tip sandwich was gristly and bland. Breakfast plates were great. Waiter was top notch and the prices were not outrageous. Dessert to go was good too.

We had to wait for about a half hour past our reservation for a table, then about another 10-15 min before a server came to our table. They brought us water and 3 of the 6 glasses looked like they had not been washed as chunks of food floated in them. We brought this to the attention of our server and he did not even replace them - just made a comment about wow those are dirty. The experience was not worth what we paid and we will not be returning. They make good pasties , but just stop by and get those to go.

Very nice, helpful, efficient server. Good food. Reservation for 7:30, weren't seated till after 8:15. Party of 10 with an infant and small child, elder, very trying time waiting.

Madonna Inn is not prepared for Christmas Day service. They were very backed up, both in front and back of house. When I called a week prior, the manager assured me we could order from the steakhouse menu in the café. Our server last night informed us that that wasn’t possible. So, my folks decided to order the duck plate off a special holiday menu for $49/plate. The duck was dry and insufficiently seasoned. The rest of us thought our meals were just fine. Nothing special, but at least we didn’t have to cook on Christmas! Madonna Inn is more a novelty act than a dining experience. Proceed accordingly and you’ll have a fine time.

As always it was crowded with families celebrating Christmas. It seemed like a good time was had by all. Our little core group…..the fabulous four…..have been doing Christmas dinner at the Madonna Inn for 30ish years, even doing drive by take out during the pandemic. and hope the tradition will continue..
