   We had a great luncheon to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The staff signed a card and it was so much fun!

   Staff was very friendly and helpful. My husband cannot walk so he uses a small scooter. The seating is pretty cramped so it was difficult for him to navigate the space, but the staff were kind and considerate and helped as much as they could

   This restaurant is a fantastic restaurant for everyone to try. We were greeted by the manager as we were seated at the table, the lead staff was wonderful, and when the manager found out, it was my birthday he said the dessert was on the house. And the people that were sitting next to us were extremely friendly, and we did not know them, and when he found out, it was my birthday he had everybody in the restaurant saying to me. The dessert was wonderful. The food was fantastic and the manager even brought out a birthday card signed by all the staff. I would highly recommend everyone and anyone visiting Hillsborough to eat at the copper river restaurant. Fantastic!

   Had a drink at the bar before being seated at a table. Bartender not friendly at all. Once seated, waited for 15 minutes without anyone coming to the table. Went to the bar for another drink and was told I now have to order through my server. Went back to table. Server finally came, we ordered, and waited forever for meal. Food was not nearly as good as many prior visits. Will be reluctant to return.

   We were seated immediately and told the name of our waiter. Our waiter was quickly available to answer any questions and take our order. He was polite and patient. And very accommodating. Dereck answered every question we had and went to the kitchen in one case to verify what he thought the answer was. He also recommended a spectacular special house soup. We had a wonderful, relaxed lunch and visit, and felt just about pampered. Our food came pretty quickly (which is amazing for a scratch-made restaurant) and was excellent. The helpings were generous, too! And, to top it all off, they surprised us with a banana split and card for my husband's birthday - I had barely mentioned the fact, but they picked up on it! People rarely mention this, but when you can tell that the staff is familiar with the menu and seem happy to be there -not fake, but you can tell they've been there for a while, it's an excellent factor in favor of a restaurant. We are already thinking about who we want to bring there for a special treat.

   We had the Buttermilk Batter chicken and Steak Medallion and both were excellent. The portion sizes are large. It was a Tuesday night and the place was packed.

   The food quality is excellent. Our server was nice, patient and great about checking in with us throughout dinner. We were seated within 10 mins after we checked in for our reservation. Will definitely come back again

    The service was great. Although the restaurant was busy, our server, as well as the manager who stopped by our table to welcome us, made us feel like the only customers they had. We’re just a small family from Hawaii and it was great to see the Aloha so far from home.
