- DDorcasLondon •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoAfternoon tea in Betty’s Belmont Room - what a lovely way to spend Christmas Eve. Scrummy food, plentiful refills, relaxing piano playing and absolutely exceptional service from all staff but in particular from Anne who looked after us so well. Thank you everyone.More infoBettys Café Tea Rooms - YorkPrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• York•4.7
- WWayneYorkshire •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis is our 2nd time visiting, and the food, service and setting has always been outstanding - 10/10. We were served by James (both times) and Louie? (Sorry if the spelling isn’t right) this most recent time, not to mention the lady hosting (whose name also escapes me, SORRY) - all a credit to the place! We always feel welcome and catered for, and can’t wait to come back again and again.More infoBettys Café Tea Rooms - HarrogatePrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Harrogate•4.7
- AAnnabelLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoExcellent, delicious and beautifully presented dishes. Our server Imogen was very professional and efficient and a credit to the restaurant. The Lobster Thermidor was one of the best I’ve ever eaten. The only negative was the poor service in the hotel bar beforehand. We had to wait quite a while but no one came to take our order even though there were staff behind the bar. In addition, the loud crashing of glass bottles being thrown into the bin behind the bar really spoilt the ambiance, not a great start to the evening sadlyMore infoThe Rise RestaurantPrice: Expensive• British• York•4.6
- MMollyYorkshire •3 reviews4.0Dined 6 days agoLovely afternoon tea in the Garden Room. The sandwiches were nice and the scones were great, they were warmed and served with jam and clotted cream. We had the festive afternoon tea which meant the cakes were festive themed, I would prefer them be the usual cakes. I wasn’t a fan of the Christmas pudding or mince pie flavour. Overall, it was great. I would go back for regular afternoon tea but not the festive one due to the cakes. Service was amazingMore infoAfternoon Tea @ The Garden RoomPrice: Expensive• Afternoon Tea• York•4.5
