Best American Restaurants in Atlantic Beach

We had great service with Jeremy and Kate. Very helpful and unobtrusive with wonderful manner and attitudes. The stuffed figs were a perfect starter. The onion soup was very good. The short rib was one of the very best I’ve ever had. It was cooked perfectly. The sauce/gravy was silky smooth and full of deep flavor. The crème brûlée was very tasty but didn’t measure up to the excellence of the rest of the meal.

We love Azurea! Great seafood and starters! Try the fresh fish entrees. And if you are lucky enough to get Rei as your waiter, he is friendly, attentive, top notch service. They have comfy booths and a quiet atmosphere, and nice beach views.

Coop is one of our favorite restaurants, we hadn’t been in a while and went Saturday night. We had fried chicken and salmon patties which were delicious. Our server, Kayla could not have been more attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The management had changed the upstairs bar into an area called The Living Room, which is more like a speakeasy. We did not sit there, but will make a visit back to enjoy that space very soon!

This was our first time at The Refinery. When we arrived the valet attendant opened the door to the restaurant. Nice touch #1. We checked in and proceeded to the second floor where the fine dining room is located. It was much quieter than downstairs where the pub is located and live music was playing. You could barely hear the music from downstairs. The upstairs had nice softer music playing. Although it was dark outside, we sat facing the ocean. Nice touch 2. We viewed the menu and ordered cocktails, salads, two fish entrees, bread, and a side of crispy Brussels Sprouts. The only negative is they charge extra for bread. Our cocktails were very good, as well as the Caesar and House Salad with the Pumpkin Vinaigrette. For entrees we ordered the Salmon, and the Triple Tail which was the special of the evening. The Salmon was a large piece or protein with string beans and other grains. The Triple Tail was on the small side with a puree and string beans. The Brussels Sprouts were also a hit. Nice touch #3. The only feedback is on charging for bread and the portion size of the Triple Tail. In addition, it was our anniversary, I added it to the OT reservation notes, but no one acknowledged our special day. We will definitely return again, and will also try their Sunday Brunch.

Long time customer, love these sisters & staff, it's still my favorite go to Irish pub at the beach. Food is authentic, on point and consistent. The Reuben is my fav, my husband prefers the corned beef and cabbage meal, the Reuben is made with their corned beef which is why it's my favorite. The Guinness is always poured correctly & tastes amazing every time. Always end with the bread pudding, you won't regret it!
