Best American Restaurants in Belchertown

Great food and service. Will go back again!! The atmosphere is fun and laid back. The staff was great.

Everything was amazing! Our server Evan was wonderful, accommodated our seating preference, and was attentive during the entire meal. We were greeted with a complimentary Valentine’s cocktail and amuse bouche prior to our meal. We savored the 3-course menu with amazing appetizers, dined on filet and short rib, and had an amazing, creative dessert. 5 stars all the way, thank you Max’s!

A bowl of delicious goulash with good bread, and the richest, most flavorful, robust coffee ever, make for a perfect and satisfying lunch on a budget! The food, as always, is outstanding. There are but a few (perhaps petty) reasons for not giving 5 stars across the board: 1. The bread rolls were really good, though serving them warm would make a very big and impressionable difference. There’s something comforting about butter melting into warm bread, so cold bread rolls are disappointing. It’s all about attention to detail. 2. The service was very good — but not exceptional. There was some waiting to get past that accounts for 4, not 5 stars. The Student Prince Prince offers unparalleled, authentic old world charm that is thankfully lovingly preserved. What a wonderful New England landmark! Thank you! Looking forward to another visit.

The food was great. The waiters service was phenomenal. What a nice, kind, and professional waiter. Everyone made us comfortable although we lost track of time lol. Fresh food, good service, and a good time.

Fantastic evening celebrating XMAS with our daughter and her roommate from MHC! The staff could not have been more gracious in allowing us to decorate our mini Christmas tree on the table while waiting for the delicious food. Thank you Johnny’s for a wonderful and memorable evening at our daughter’s home away from home!
