- LLindseyVIPNew York City •19 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had very attentive service, which was nice! We shared the breads & spreads and the Wagyu app to start. We both also ordered our own tagliatelle entrees. We had quite a bit of leftovers. The breads & spreads was far too much for 2 people. The cornbread & the sea salted herbed butter was delicious though!More infoStellaPrice: Expensive• American• New Hope•4.7
- AAmyPhiladelphia County •8 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoEven though it was Valentine’s Day the service and food were excellent! Some restaurants are so busy it doesn’t turn out that way. I had a very creative halibut dish with olives and sweet raisins etc over a cauliflower potato mash. Yummy! My husband had bacon wrapped filet and they were very kind about substituting one of the sides. I love that the Black Bass Hotel restaurant has French press coffee at lunch and dinner!More infoBlack Bass HotelPrice: Expensive• International• Lumberville•4.7
- KKathyVIPPhiladelphia County •29 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe made a dinner reservation for Valentine's Day and was so glad we picked this newly opened restaurant. It definitely is a special occasion place with a lovely atmosphere in a 1830's restored barn on the grounds of the Woolverton Inn. The food was fantastic. My appetizer, a Yukon Gold Potato Soup with tidbits of Maine Lobster, was to die for. (I would like to have taken a quart or two home with me.) My husband had the special appetizer of the night which was a duck leg with puffed pastry and a cherry gastrique sauce and appleslaw. Heavenly. (We hope this becomes a permanent offering on the menu.) For entrees, I had the beef braised short rib, the best I've ever had anywhere. And my husband had the dry-aged ribeye steak with a special (secret) sauce. Desserts were Chocolate Mousse and Apple Crumble with vanilla ice cream. Yum! Every moment of this dining experience was sheer perfection, from the moment we stepped into the restaurant and were warmly welcomed by the staff, to someone offering to hang our coats so we didn't have to take them to our table, to the owner introducing himself and taking a moment to chat with us before dinner, to our server who was professional, personable and delightful. The wood burning fireplace provided a cozy atmosphere. But of course our highest compliments go to the incredibly talented chef! The restaurant is BYOB, so we brought two bottles of wine (white and red) to compliment our various dishes. We highly recommend this restaurant. It certainly is a wonderful new addition to the Stockton/New Hope/Lambertville dining scene. And to be honest, we love dining out, and we haven't found any restaurant in the area that is of this caliber.More infoNorthridge at Woolverton InnPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Lumberville•4.9
