Best American Restaurants in Donelson

It was wonderful! We got sat right away at a beautiful table looking at a fish tank and a great view of the whole room! Food was fantastic and our waitress was great and attentive. What else could you ask for nowadays? Thanks!

My wife and I always revisit our first date that we had at Treehouse during the holidays! Treehouse is a cozy and quant neighborhood staple in 5 points. This year our visit was nothing short of spectacular. The holiday decor was fun and definitely set the mood, and our service was welcoming and friendly. Our waitress, Kaytee had fun recommendations and was very hospitable. One of the things I love about a tentative server is that they don't interrupt conversation and they are perceptive enough to know when to get orders in and ask if we need another beverage. We started with the brussels sprouts, burrata, and chickpea fries. The brussels sprouts had a good flavor with a little kick, but the highlight of the appetizers was definitely the chickpea fries. Interesting flavor, and if you love tzatziki you will love this dish! For our entrées I did the pork chop, and my wife did the scallops. The scallops were definitely an appetizer so not a full dish, which was fine for my wife. My pork chop was cooked to perfection and very tender (could cut it with a butter knife). The wine selection is always on the smaller side, but they do keep the choices interesting and good for food pairings. We definitely miss the gourmet ice cream sandwich being on the menu for dessert, but we did the Coconut Panna Cotta, and it was a nice lighter dessert to compliment the cordials. Super fun pop up Christmas bar! Espresso Martini needs some work but the other drinks were good and so was the food. The music was fun and the service was great.

We were really impressed with the huge aquarium and the multitude of different fish species! They all looked healthy, the tank looked clean and the ambiance was incredible! Our server Alise was amazing! She knew what we needed before we even asked! She is sharp, intelligent and an asset to the restaurant! Such a great personality! We hope to come back in the future. We really enjoyed it!

Can get pricey if you don't know how their card system works. Not knowing can cause overspending. Thankfully, one of the young ladies that works there provided some info and suggestions for our group to prevent any mistakes. The kids all had a great time and didn't want to leave!
