Best American Restaurants in Old Orchard Beach

After reading many positive reviews about Earth at Hidden Pond, my boyfriend and I decided to go here for dinner while staying near the area. Even though almost all the reviews I read were positive, Earth managed to exceed my expectations! From the ambience to the service to the menu - you can tell detail was paid to every aspect. Admittedly I was worried about portion size but I can honestly say both of us walked out full. This restaurant is a wonderful choice if you’re interested in having a unique eating experience that focuses more on tasting over eating.

Consistently fantastic food and service! We love all the options Portland’s restaurants provide and visit many of them. Since we visited David’s twenty years ago, we’ve decided that is where we will go when family/friends visit because all ages and palates find something they want to eat (meatloaf, tuna sashimi, burger, sirloin, steak au poivre, garlic knots, brussle sprouts, and salads), and we can rely on the quality.

My favorite place to dine for a casual setting in ME. I'm a MA resident that comes to the area once or twice each season and this is my favorite spot open year round

Our first time at this location in Scarborough although we have been to other locations. Love the crab and havarti sandwich and the sweet potato fries. The desserts were very good too, especially the peanut butter pie. Our server Lisa was great! We would sit in the bar area again just to have her as our server. Nice to have a Sea Dog location in Scarborough!
