- TTrishLondon •1 review5.0Dined todayIt's the first time any of us in our group have dined at the Ivy Asia St Pauls and we weren't disappointed. We enjoyed a team lunch, the quality of food and menu choice is amazing. The décor is beautiful too. For a lunch service, it was good, we didn't feel rushed nor did we have to wait long at any point. Highly recommend for somewhere that isn't your run of the mill lunch option!.More infoThe Ivy Asia, St. Paul'sPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Asian• St Paul's•4.4
- TTaniaLondon •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoHad been intending to dine here for ages and planned in a visit to tie in with a trip to the ExCel centre. So many great dishes on the menu, it was difficult to choose just a few - but we selected the Chicken Cafreal Zambeziana (tender chicken with a piquant green sauce on delicous crushed potatoes), Lamb Samosas (very delicate, an elevated samosa experience), garlic naan bread, spiced fried paneer which was actually quite chilli-hot, and the Parsee Lamb Dhaansaak, one of their signature dishes, with tender lamb served in dhansak sauce with caramelised onion rice. We just had room after for dessert of nutmeg spiced creme caramel, and a scoop of Belgian dark chocolate ice cream. I'm still thinking about the garam masala spiced Old Fashioned I had to start, and we had a decent bottle of rose wine with the meal. The team were all very welcoming and friendly, and it was a very relaxed and pleasant dining experience. Looking forward to a return visit, hopefully during a lighter spring evening with views out over the docklands.More infoCafe Spice NamastePrice: Expensive• Indian• Newham•4.9
- SSirinLondon •3 reviews5.0Dined on 4 Dec 2024Had a great time, the tteokbokki was great! Definitely the best dish of the night. The Takoyaki (octopus balls) were a close second, could've rated higher if there was more sauce, it was needed. The sea food Jjamppong and the Samgyupsal-Gui were disappointing, and the Samgyupsal-Gui for some reason isn't served with the lettuce. I hope it was just an off day for these dishes though. The service was ok, however the young lady who was serving us, didn't make us feel welcome, I felt more like she didn't want to be there. The other lady, who wasn't actually serving us, seemed brilliant, I could feel her great customer service even in a brief encounter. Even though we had 2 dishes that weren't great, I definitely would go back, I really did love the tteokbokki and they do have some great food, there's just some dishes they need to work on xMore info3KOBROS Korean Restaurant - Canary WharfPrice: Moderate• Korean• Docklands•4.5
