- AAmber LynnVIPWashington, D.C. Area •13 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis downtown restaurant is a must-visit for its cozy beautiful open kitchen. I had the Tuscan board, which was well arranged and a perfect size for one person. It had a great mix of flavors and textures that made each bite enjoyable. The bartender made a great Manhattan. It was well-balanced with the right amount of bitterness without being too sweet. For my main course, I had the lamb shank, which came with creamy, buttery potatoes. The lamb was tender and fell off the bone, creating a melt-in-your-mouth experience. The large portion size made it great for sharing, especially with a glass of pinot noir, the Averaen. I look forward to my next visit to try their desserts.More infoThe HenriPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary European• Penn Quarter•4.5

I finished with a lamb pot pie which was delightful, although next time I think I’ll try the jambalaya pasta. The food had a bit of a dragging wait time, but it was Saturday night and completely worth it.More infoAugie's Mussel House and Beer GardenPrice: Moderate• American• Alexandria•4.3
