- PPamelaVIPWashington, D.C. Area •59 reviews4.0Dined todayExcellent food and service. Several of our group shared a selection of oysters, and individually ordered blue crab salad, ceviche, yellowfin tuna tartare, romanesco cauliflower, Maine mussels, halibut, bouillabaisse, and Arctic char. Everyone loved what they got! Service was very good. Our table was beneath a couple of very efficient space heaters but our server immediately agreed to shut one off when we requested it. They do not offer dessert or coffee, which struck us as bit unique. Note also that they add a 20% pre-tax gratuity automatically. Note to mobility-impaired diners: the restaurant entrance is up five steps and through a vestibule (two doors). The Google listing says front entrance and restrooms are wheelchair accessible, but I did not notice an elevator at the entrance nor was I offered to use an elevator when I inquired about the location of the restrooms. Restrooms are down two flights of stairs which are also used by waitstaff and porters to bring stuff up from the kitchen down there. It’s possible they have accessibility options that you must ask about.More infoSelect Oyster BarPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Back Bay•4.9

We are new in Charlestown and it’s so nice to discover a local place that serves excellent food. The scallops were big and juicy and sitting on a delicious bed of Brussel sprout hash. The swordfish was cooked perfectly and lied on a risotto mushroom base. Wow! All superb!More infoWaverly Kitchen and BarPrice: Expensive• American• Charlestown•4.8

My friend and I had a wonderful lunch. The only minor criticism was that one of the waitresses was loud. I could hear her from 3 tables away. Given the cozy dining room it could seem a little jarring. Her service was good. It is just the awareness of noise level she needs to become more aware of. My Fromage salad was light and tasty as I expected. Since it was not crowded, they made sure to place us a couple of tables away from other patrons. Very thoughtful. I will go back again in 2025!More infoPetit Robert Bistro Columbus AvenuePrice: Expensive• French• South End•4.6
