We wanted to grab a quick bite and a few drinks before seeing “Moulin Rouge” at Mirvish’s. While ambiance was excellent and exactly why we made a reso, service was horrible - we had to ask for wine twice and they forgot about our main order, we literally had to stuff ourselves with it and run across the street to the theatre as we were running out of time. Yes, it was busy, but come on! It doesn’t take 20 minutes to pour a glass of wine!

First time at the Berczy and we will be going back. Beautiful space and atmosphere. The live piano is a plus and reminds me of one of our favourite bistros in NY. We had a brunch menu and it was delicious. Our server Nikita was great snd we had a nice chat with Luca. All in all a great time and a nice gem in the neighborhood. Thank you !!

Chicken and waffles flavour was really good but the waffle was hard. Requested a steak knife to cut through waffle. Food took a while to come but was worth the wait. Music could’ve been a bit louder to set the ambience
