Best Brazilian Restaurants in Forest Park

The food was very well prepared and the service was top-notch. I could not recommend this location enough. If you're looking for a special place for a meal with your significant other, this is the spot. I will be going again, soon.

Service and cheese bread replenishment is usually a little slow. Today, everything was refilled before asking and gauchos were checking in regularly. As always, meat is great. The grilled cheese with honey was available today and very tasty.

Overall great experience. It was really busy due to Valentine’s Day weekend to be expected, so no big deal. However, during our dining experience one of the servers holding the meat was very rude. He came to the table to serve meat and was about to leave without serving my fiancé. Even though my fiancé had stepped away from the table I wanted to make sure that he was served. So when the server turned as if he was leaving I raise my hand accidentally touched the server and said I’m sorry excuse me can I have some for my fiancé also. He served it and said don’t touch me again ok. I have never had this type of experience here before and it definitely brought down the mood for the evening. I had no intention of touching anyone and even apologized because it was accidental. Overall great experience but certain staff members needs a retraining on customer service!

Amaru put together a restaurant week menu that was the culinary equivalent of a highlight reel. A bold and well-composed departure from the excellent regular menu, the $60, 3- course tasting menu exemplified the restaurant’s pan-Latin influence. As a four-person party we were able to taste every item from each of the three courses and every plate was a standout. All of the portions were nearly entre-sized and there was an exuberance in the flavors and textures that showcased the kitchen’s mastery. There wasn’t a single dish that I wouldn’t be delighted to see on the regular menu. As always the service was warm and attentive. Bravo.
