- SSaundraVIPAustin •24 reviews4.0Dined on 2 Jan 2025We love the original El Alma so tried the south location. A big positive is plenty of parking. Our wait person was great and really sweet. The food was good. My biggest suggestion is to put some dimmers on the lights! I felt like I was in a cafeteria. The other location is so cozy and pretty. Just sayin’😊More infoEl Alma SouthPrice: Moderate• Mexican• South Austin•4.7

- HHeatherDallas - Fort Worth •1 review4.0Dined on 24 Nov 2024This place had great reviews and a decent looking menu so some friends and I met up for Sunday brunch. Menu was promising, coffee was good with lots of options. I appreciated that it wasn't super loud and busy. Felt like a nice little cafe. Service was pretty good, no complaints there. The food however was lacking a bit. It looked good but it was just really bland. I got Migas and it was basically scrambled eggs with mild verde sauce on top. with some soggy tortilla chips. There was no flavor. We're in Austin guys, if you're going to have Migas on the menu, they need to be legit. There are 1000 other restaurants with really good Migas. I would go back, but wouldn't order anything that was Mexican inspired because it just missed the mark.More infoForthrightPrice: Moderate• Breakfast• Downtown•4.2
