Best Breakfast Restaurants in Beltsville

This location is not like any of the other locations. Mostly the same menu, but everything, from the menu to the food to the ambiance has been elevated. Beautiful design, retaining elements of the art deco that is in their other locations, but adding a more modern twist.

Lunch was very good! I got Chicken, Avocado, Mozzarella sandwich with fries for $17. Very tasty and had enough to take home. Fried mozzarella was the star of the show, would absolutely recommend. Atmosphere was very inviting and clean. Tables were a little close together and made it slightly hard for servers to get around (not their fault though). Will be coming back once their brunch menu comes out!

The tea itself and service were excellent. The savoury components were well balanced and delicious. The sweet components were hit or miss. Some were overwhelmingly sweet. The clotted cream was closer to a chantilly or whipped cream than a true clotted cream. However the scones and the jam were delicious. The ambience was also a bit mundane. Overall, the experience satisfied a craving, but did not match the expectations based on price.

As always, our experience at Ted’s bulletin was superlative. First and most important, the food is outstanding. And the desserts are even better, especially the carrot cake and the chocolate cake. Loved my snowball for nostalgic reasons. Be sure to get a milkshake. And the cornbread sticks. And the brussels sprouts. We ate at Ted’s four times in the four days we visited DC. The manager was so gracious in giving us a table on our fourth day as we were short on time before leaving for the airport. The staff were already beginning to recognize us. Can’t wait to visit DC again so we can eat at Ted’s at least once every day of our trip. And take home more desserts. 

The DJ and karaoke was great! Lively brunch!! My daughter had a great 21st birthday! The floor manager was very accommodating and friendly. The food options were good, disappointed the waffle and omelet station closed earlier than rest of buffet. The cost of $50, there should be a unlimited Mimosa add on. Frozen drinks a little pricey. Overall, we will be back!
