- SShawnaVIPWashington, D.C. Area •3 reviews4.0Dined on 10 Dec 2024We had a wonderful meal at Wplf Ridge. The chef accommodated my friend who needed to add protein to her salad. I wish they had a fuller menu but overall, they continue to offer excellent food!More infoWolf's Ridge BrewingPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Columbus•4.3
- MMichaelVIPColumbus •2 reviews5.0Dined on 6 Dec 2024While they are known for their beer, we weren’t drinking because my date and I had to sing in a vocal performance after dinner. Our server was wonderful, extremely friendly- chatting with us like we were old friends. He even suggested bringing us hot Earl Grey tea since it was a chilly evening, which I took him up on. He also went through the menu and discussed which items were top notch and which were his least favorite. I ordered the burger and fries and my date the chicken fingers. The burger was really good. Since it was two flat patties put together, I didn’t have to worry about it being over or under cooked. It was very juicy. It wasn’t huge like you get at some restaurants, but it was the perfect amount of food for me since I’m not a big guy. There were a lot of chicken fingers and she took half of them home. The atmosphere was great, and they have brewing equipment on sight. I will be going back to try the beer and hopefully get to see the production process. It’s quite a gem of a place tucked away in the neighborhood across from the Conservatory.More infoColumbus Brewing Company Beer HallPrice: Moderate• Brewery• Columbus•4.8
- WWendyColumbus •1 review4.0Dined on 2 Nov 2024Solid place to get food and beer, cocktails, wine, etc. We all enjoyed our food quite a bit. The eggplant, avocado/pineapple dip, and kale salad were good. My guests reported good burgers and fries. And my other guests enjoyed their salmon salad. The charcuterie board was disappointing, especially for the price. It was very underwhelming, and presentation was fair at best. All the beers we tried were actually pretty good. None of us ordered a cocktail. Ambiance is nice. Didn't love that we were forced (all of us under 5 ft 3 - to sit on a high top with our feet dangling) - had made a reso and when I inquired about the table at check-in was told it would be over an hour for a regular table. I wish I would have known and requested this up front. Overall, however, I do recommend Forbidden Root - and would return again.More infoForbidden Root ColumbusPrice: Moderate• Brewery• Columbus•4.3
- OTOpenTable DinerColumbus •5 reviews4.0Dined on 12 May 2024Our server was excellent. She checked on us regularly and was very efficient but also friendly. Most of the food was good but the chicken on the chicken sandwich seemed undercooked and rubbery. The scrambled eggs were brown from being overcooked.More infoBrewDog - New AlbanyPrice: Moderate• Brewery• Columbus•3.3
