We arrived early and were happy to grab a drink or 2 at the bar but our table was ready. Therefore we ate before planned and wow. We searched and searched for a lovely roast in Bath and I’m so glad we came across this place. The beef, roasties, sides, service.. nothing could have been better. Highly recommend to anyone looking to book!More infoThe Chequers - BathPrice: Moderate• British• Bath•4.6

The food was delicious for adults and toddler-friendly (pancakes were a hit!). They even surprised us with a candle-lit dessert, making the moment special.More infoIvy Clifton BrasseriePrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• Clifton•4.5

- NnigelLancashire •3 reviews5.0Dined on 9 Nov 2024What a lovely place. Stumbled upon this pub as we did not want to eat in Glastonbury and is only a short drive, it is down a dark country road but well lit. We were taken aback when we walked in by the character and welcoming staff. Honestly they could not do any more for us, let us try the tap beers and gave a choice of where we wanted to sit. Very attentive staff very pleasant. The food came quickly and was so delicious we both had fish stew, I am not a great fan of fish but this was something special and generous portion of bread to go with it. Will definately return if ever in the area and they also have rooms which look as inviting as the pub. There has been great care and attention taken with this country pub it is a credit to the staff. It is a real hidden gem!!More infoThe Lion at PennardPrice: Expensive• British• Wells•4.6
