Recently went to the Hare & Billet for a lovely roast, was excited to see they offer a vegan wellington roast as an option online. However was disappointed upon learning that it’s no longer an option and had been taken off the menu when we were getting our orders taken. Luckily we had a fantastic server, Nathaniel who went above and beyond to offer options so that I could still enjoy the roast that I’d be looking forward too with a few tweaks here and there. Ended up having a lovely meal regardless! Thank you, Nathaniel & chefs at the Hare & Billet!

Sonia was our waitress - she was absolutely fantastic. She was on top of everything and so polite and interesting. The cheese soufflé was outstanding - as was the ribeye steak along with spinach and chunky chips. Yumbo!!! The Rose wine was delicious too - just the inexpensive one at the top of the rose list. What a fantastic find. The moment we arrived we were warmly greeted by the bar and waiting staff. Very attentive throughout. A lovely cosy atmosphere as you would want from an English pub, Food choices were varied and suited all tastes and the standard of cuisine was very good. We live in France so for us this was a treat and we will be back
