Best British Restaurants in Witham

Best restaurant in Maldon. Excellent food, lovely and clean and very attentive staff. Just the perfect amount of time between courses and never feel rushed. The 3 course deal on Sunday afternoon is amazing value and the kids loved their food too! Highly recommend this place!!

We have eaten here before but tonight they really outdid themselves. The service was prompt, polite and great. The food was tremendous - my partner had the Scallops and Pork Belly to start and the steak for main and both were great. I had the Venison to start and the Duck Breast for main and these were equally fantastic. Both desserts - the Tarte Tatin and Chocolate Torte - were also lovely. Great meal, one of the best we have ever had. We will definitely be back!

I cannot express my gratitude enough to the staff and manager at the Canary Wharf branch - I had the most fabulous meal with my autistic daughter and the rest of my family. We were offered a choice of tables, seen to quickly, given paper and crayons and looked after so well. The food was outstanding and we had the best time.

The service was great, pretty quick. The waitress was really nice and professional. We appreciated the cake for the birthday although it could be served before we ordered desserts because we were full. The atmosphere is a bit noisy but overall very nice.
