Best British Restaurants in Tring

The staff at the start were lovely and we did arrive late however they did move us so we were able to stay longer which was nice so thank you. The staff member serving us after wasn't the happiest and one of the hosts but overall most of the staff there were lovely as you receive at an Ivy. Sunday chicken roast was ok nothing special I have had better. Was surprised they do not have a vegetarian roast. But overall I do like an Ivy and I would go back to that branch. :)

The staff are always so friendly and first rate. Good quality ingredients and lovely food. Popular for a reason, so make sure you book if you can!

Our waiter was superb, really friendly and hrlped us woth our coats and bags, lovely man. The fish was a bit fishy more so than cod but chips and my chicken with wild mushroom sauce was good.

Food was lovely, big portions. But the service was shocking, slow with an unfulfilled order. When questioned every member claimed “I’m new here”. Reception and bar staff were lovely and very attentive. They were a nice welcome after a long drive.

Good table with plenty of room for 2. Our waitress was lovely although the supervisor was less friendly. Food was great , service almost too efficient except drinks service which was a bit slow. Good atmosphere for a rainy Sunday evening
