Try our Cluckin’ Fresh Chicken Fingers, made and seasoned with fresh, never frozen chicken tenders. This isn’t run-of-the-mill pub grub. Our Band of Chefs are influenced by a wide variety of tastes and have travelled across the globe to gain inspiration. But outside of the kitchen, we find it hard to take ourselves seriously. We have an Elvis booth. For no particular reason. Folks, that really does say it all. We’re sports fanatics, music nuts and love a good joke.     We had a beyond incredible dinner and experience at The Friendly Society tonight. We shared two dishes (chicken sandwich with poutine and Mac and cheese) and the whole drive home we couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was. We couldn’t pick a favourite thing. The restaurant has such a great vibe and is beautifully decorated for the holidays. Our server was very friendly, helpful and so good at her job, which added to the whole experience. Can’t recommend this restaurant enough.

    Could barely hear my partner as the music was way too loud. I mentioned it to bartender it was lowered but then the volume went back up again. I am not sure if it was a system challenge. Friendly staff Waitress needed to greet us quicker. Waited 8mins before we could order any drinks or food. Also, waitress needs to follow up more often Waited 10mins before paying

    Our server was friendly and courteous. The food was prepared and tabled efficiently, cooked to perfection and delicious. We hadn't been to the Ancaster Mill for several years but will definitely be returning in the near future. Because of the location, parking is a distance involving stairs - we had forgotten how many - so because of our age we will definitely be using the valet service in future.

    Jen Agg has done it again - this restaurant might be her best yet. Absolutely a delight to dine there. The decor is warm and in her signature style and the food — THE FOOD!! Amazingly delicious and unique in their own “English gastro pub” homage. We all ordered different things and everyone was pleased with their dishes. The cocktails - on point. Can’t wait to come back!
