Best Chilean Restaurants in Penalolen

This is an EXPERIENCE! The food was a B plus/A minus (dessert v disappointing). The place itself is just astonishing in scope and decor - I’ve never seen anything like it. I loved the various small dining rooms. The service was great - all servers eager to please and to understand us. Bastien in particular was amazingly helpful and nice and took us on a tour of the whole place.

Excellent service, with very good knowledge of the menu, its ingredients, offering detailed alternatives and additional information, making very good wine recommendations. The quality of the food is excellent, with a very good balance and combination of flavors, totally recommended.

Our tour company booked us into the Santiago Marriott and we were initially too exhausted to look for our first meal (lunch) beyond the hotel. To our surprise, the food and service were both excellent. For a variety of reasons, we wound up returning for multiple meals and were not disappointed once. Delicious, well-prepared food, wonderful service, and quite reasonable prices. We sat out on the lovely patio, with palm trees and a waterfall, and also inside on a Friday evening where there was an excellent pianist. Highly recommend The Latin Grill and its companion, Cafe Med.
