- JJenniferWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined todayWe came to celebrate my husband’s birthday and our anniversary. Loved the esthetic appropriately decorated for Christmas. Our server Merybeth was exceptional! She was welcoming very attentive, and anticipated our needs. Merybeth made our whole experience rate it 5 stars. Now the food, we ordered the Tomahawk steak with Zanahorias al carbon(roasted heirloom carrots) and papa al horno(wood-fired baked potato). The steak was cooked at medium temperature, juicy, tender and seasoned to perfection. The steak was infused with herbs flambé at our table side which made the experience exquisite! We also ordered the Queso fundido with beef and ceviche Amarillo which very delicious. Everything was beautifully plated! We will definitely be coming back!More infodLeñaPrice: Expensive• Latin American• Mount Vernon Square•4.6
- PPaulaVIPTampa / Central Florida West •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoFounding Fathers DC is a fantastic spot for those craving Southern-inspired cuisine. The menu offers hearty options for lunch and dinner, showcasing classic dishes with bold flavors. For breakfast enthusiasts, the selection is just as impressive, featuring fluffy biscuits, indulgent beignets, waffles, and decadent French toast. We visited during brunch and decided to explore the heavier lunch menu. Every dish was perfectly executed, balancing rich Southern flavors with refined presentation. A standout moment of our meal was dessert — the vanilla bean cheesecake was divine, with a creamy texture and just the right hint of sweetness. It’s a must-try! A word of advice: make a reservation. The restaurant’s popularity means long lines, especially during peak hours. Founding Fathers DC is a delightful blend of Southern charm and culinary excellence, and it’s well worth the visit!More infoFounding Farmers DC: Foggy BottomPrice: Moderate• American• Foggy Bottom•4.6
- CCristinaBaltimore / Maryland •3 reviews4.0Dined on 6 Dec 2024We always enjoy being at this restaurant. However, the noise level is too high (perhaps do not have music) and it is hard to have a conversion when there are more than 4 people. This was particularly the case for outdoor seating. We are grateful that they were able to accommodate our group to an indoor seating.More infoDutch CouragePrice: Expensive• Bar / Lounge / Bottle Service• Charles Village•4.7
