Best Cocktail Bars in Financial District

We celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday, and it was an amazing experience! We tried the Louix Louis burger, Marlada pasta, and mac and cheese. The burger and pasta were absolutely delicious, but unfortunately, the mac and cheese fell short of our expectations it lacked flavor. Despite that, the ambiance was fantastic, and the service was great . I’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great lunch or dinner in the city!

came here to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday! Second time visiting as I came here a month ago to celebrate a work dinner - had the tasting menu then. This time around we opted for the A La carte menu. Abi was great with recommendations and explaining the menu to us. We had the mango lassi both to drink! Was good but a bit too thick for my liking. For aps we had the chaat which is a nice take on traditional chaat with a variety of textures and flavours. For mains I got something vegetarian so that my partner and I could share. Palak paneer and the dhal makhni was great! I’d give the food 4/5 only because I’m south asian and have pretty high expectations lol but everything was great. I would come again! Thanks staff and back of house for great dinner and service ! :)

Our experience started at the front reception where we were greeted by a lovely young woman who asked our seating preference. We were then led to the table and our server, Rubail, who provided us with exceptional service! Our meals were delicious and we are looking forward to returning next month!! Thank you!! Cheryl

I recently visited Daphne for the second time, and celebrated by birthday. One key factor for me recommending this spot and for me coming back time after time is the consistency. The food, service, ambiance and vibe is my type. An elegant intimate space that is not too crowded but spacious enough to accommodate the ideal amount of guests to help curate a beautiful and memorable experience. It's also no huge surprise that I've gravitate to this spot as Daphne is managed under the same umbrella as some of my other favourites - Bisha, Oliver Bonicini and Sofia. Once again, the consistency is on point.

Loved everything about this place. Stopped for drinks and dinner after a matinee ballet performance. Loved the drink selection and the fun Bay Street names. We had the High Yield Old Fashioned and the Adelaide sour. Both were great. For dinner we had the honey soy glazed salmon and savoured every bite. A generous slab of cheesecake topped with chocolate and a Ferrero Rocher was perfect for sharing and a deliciously decadent finish to our meals. Good value for the quality of food and friendly service. Highly recommend.
