Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Northeast Baltimore

Valentine dinner, food was great, wine pairings were extremely well matched. Our server was personable and fun to interact with. Entree was a small steak and a crab cake, no one can beat John Shields when it comes to crabs. Even the sides of roast fingerling potatoes and green beans were outstanding. We had an excellent dinner! Split an order of Brussels sprouts with the liquid feta and they were delish. I ordered the Bohemian Raspberry drink that was so delicious and made me wish I wasn’t driving because I definitely would’ve had another! My dinner was the scallops deluxe and it was delicious. The heath bread pudding ended our meal on a sweet note! Great place and wonderful service. I’ve never had anything that wasn’t great! Worth a visit!

Overall the food was good. However, the crab cake was not as good, to much seasoning and filling less crab meat.

Great food! Seating is a little tight, but it was super easy to switch tables, so don't be afraid to ask! Food was amazing, and our waiter was super nice :)! Will definetly be back!
