I can honestly say that everything that I have ever ordered is really, really good!! Tonight I had fried fish--Walleye, to be exact, and it was incredibly tasty! I often get the Mahogany Chicken, because that is my favorite, but I do try to mix it up. Not only is the food excellent, but everyone is very friendly and accommodating if you have a special request. I travel from downtown Chicago to the suburbs because this restaurant is so wonderful! Also, I ordered some side dishes and desserts for Thanksgiving and Christmas this year, and they could not have been better. It is just a simple down home darling place to get a great meal--the bar is always totally hopping, as well as every table being filled. So make sure to make a reservation or you may be disappointed! The menu has a wide variety of delicious dishes, and the servers are always great - engaging, fast, and kind. Ask your server about the food, as Ukrainian combinations and ingredients seem strange, but work beautifully. Rather than have a cocktail, I had an infusion- a shot of vodka or brandy with a fruit or herbal infusion.
