Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Shelton

The overall experience was terrific. The food and service was superb, truly. Always a fan of Brian Lewis! The burger is unparalleled, and the lobster spaghetti was outstanding. The ambiance and and environment is very pleasing and sort of transports you out of Greenwich. The only challenge we had was with the noise level, which was untenable. We were in the back, which might have made it worse.

I go to Heirloom quite a bit. Sometimes lunch. Sometimes dinner. The place is lovely and the food, although better than average really could be better. I find the menu somewhat limited. More offerings would be nice. I’m a “2 starters” person who is partial to Burrata and tuna tartare. The Burrata served here has totally unnecessary wild greens of some sort and grilled squash, also a distraction. How about more tomatoes, fresh basil, larger Burrata and some fabulous balsamic vinegar? As for tuna tartare, not on the menu. Work on the menu a bit to come up to the caliber of the place!

Great comfort food, friendly servers who are welcoming and seem to enjoy interacting with guests! Warm and cozy ambiance. Will definitely be back! Everything I have eaten at this restaurant has been great - hard to choose what to order - from start to finish.

To say this is an amazing restaurant, is an understatement. For over 40 years, my family has been coming here and this evening we celebrated another birthday. We frequent here but have always made sure to celebrate my wife's birthday with her favorite meal. Tonight was an amazing experience as the entire restaurant sang happy birthday. We look forward to many more years celebrating.

Great service and food was fantastic! We had fish, beef, mussels and apps. Attentive and friendly service.
