- SSabrinaPhoenix / Arizona •5 reviews5.0Dined todayWhen you walk through the gates you feel like you’re in Europe. We were immediately greeted upon walking in. Once seated we were quickly given menus and met our servers. They went through the menus (wine, cocktail, caviar, and the different courses) with great detail. We chose 2 cocktails and the four courses. My partner and I ordered all the courses so we could try everything. I chose the rack of lamb and he chose the surf and turf as the final course. Everything was fantastic. The dishes were cooked to perfection and packed with unique flavors. We finished off with the pear creme brûlée for dessert, which was very good, but the four course meal was definitely the star of the show. We had a wonderful evening, and we would highly recommend for a special occasion to treat yourself at Cafe Monarch.More infoCafe MonarchPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Old Town Scottsdale•4.9
- GGaryPhoenix / Arizona •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoI wanted to take my wife to a nice Christmas dinner and we chose Orange Sky on a whim, not knowing what to expect. They were not offering a pris fixe menu for Christmas but their regular menu offered exotic meats, such as Antelope, Bison, Wild Boar, Ostrich and Mike, our server was STELLAR. He took excellent care of us, guiding us through the menu, and making my wife feel extra special (her birthday is Christmas Eve). I specifically chose an early reservation to enjoy the sunset, and the views did not disappoint. The black garlic oysters were my personal favorite, while my wife enjoyed the sausage. Mike paired our food with several excellent wines from Italy and France. I wanted an espressotini with Baileys and Orange Sky was happy to make my dessert cocktail a little creamy, the way I like it. I would LOVE to come back to try their smoked prime rib or dry-aged meats soon.More infoOrange Sky - Talking Stick ResortPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Scottsdale•4.7

- LLarryVIPDallas - Fort Worth •31 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoGreat find in Scottsdale! During an overnight stay in Scottsdale my wife and I were attempting to find seating for dinner on Christmas Eve. We originally booked another restaurant then made the call to switch to Grassroots even though the only seating available was on the patio. We were not disappointed. The Noble bread service was a great start and the soup of the day, a chicken broth type soup with poblano, jalapeño and other seasonings, was exceptional! My spouse had the Waldorf chicken salad, also very good, and the shrimp and grits, an unusual choice for me, was quite delicious. We ended our meal with their key lime pie, and I would highly recommend it. All in all, Grassroots was an outstanding experience - great service, great food and nice atmosphere.More infoGrassroots Kitchen & Tap ScottsdalePrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Scottsdale•4.8
