Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Edgewood

My family and I recently dined at The Farmhouse and had a wonderful experience! I ordered the pan-seared rockfish, which was perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. The charred corn and risotto was standout side that I thoroughly enjoyed. My family members couldn't stop raving about the smashed potatoes and honey Old Bay wings—they were a hit at our table! Our waiter was incredibly helpful with dinner selections and attentive throughout the meal, making our experience all the more enjoyable. The ambiance was lovely, adding to the overall charm of the evening. I highly recommend The Farmhouse for a delightful dining experience!

We had a fantastic Christmas dinner with family on Saturday night 12/21/24. Our food was fantastic, our waiter Mark/Marc was witty and good at this job. My Mom gushed about how good her espresso martini was. There were only 2 negatives. For some reason my parents didn't get their soups (the only appetizers for the table), when the entrees came out, we mentioned it to the waiter and they were taken off the bill no issues. Then my son was served an adult burger instead of the kids sliders. It was fine, it was delish, he said it was the #2 burger he ever had. I ate some, and I have to say it's a darn good burger. It was negative because it inflated the bill cost. We will be back, everything was wonderful.

We were only ones in dining room. Our reservation was at 7. Sometimes waited on server too long ( probably in back doing clean up) though she was very sweet, personable and did attend to needs. NY Strip came out without the Chimchuri sauce and my husband’s Dijon crusted Rack of Lamb had no discernable Dijon or crust but was delicious. Everything else was great. Lovely evening.
