Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Chesapeake

My first time here for brunch was excellent! Customer service, food, drinks, cleanliness, & waitress was five stars!!

EAT has been consistently providing great food and drinks for 18 years. Their specials never disappoint. The ambience is casual and fun at the bar and a little more restrained in the dining room. Their cocktails are sophisticated and well balanced. Over all - a fantastic dining experience for date night or just to hang with friends.

Absolute wonderful experience. The rockfish on a bed of risotto, chili peppers and tomatoes was the best fish that I have ever eaten as it was perfect. Chardonnay by the glass complimented the fish very well and the ambiance and service were very nice. Great evening and I visit every year when I come home to Williamsburg — best restaurant in town and the versatile menu is always enlightening - delicious.

I wasn’t aware that the meal was a buffet. Online menus were for a regular dining experience. That said the food was ample and varied although steak was not on the menu. Enjoyed the salmon and pick your pasta.
