Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Lake Forest

Birthday dinner. All of the staff was great, offering complimentary treats along with the meal. Cocktails and the meal was very good. Sauces overpowered some of the dishes, but overall very good.

I had the Grilled Montauk NY Wild Striped Bass. Wonderful, very tasty and delicious. I would recommend to anyone who loves well prepared fish. My dining partner had the BBQ-Glazed Grilled Ora King Salmon. She finished every bite except for a little of the spout salad. Our pre dinner drinks were prepared to perfection. We will return as soon as we can. The service was very good. Thank you for a nice evening.

The food was delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. The Christmas decor was festive. We had a great meal on Christmas Eve. We each had a sale to start with; my husband had the table side Caesar and I had a house salad. Both were fresh and delicious. For our mai meals, my husband had the cedar plank salmon. It was cooked exactly as he asked and the flavors were great. I had the miso glazed sea bass with black rice. The blend of flavors was tasty and delicious. For dessert, the Sticky toffee pudding is a must and it did not disappoint. Our server was Kevin. He was knowledgeable of the menu and very pleasant and attentive. We have dined at Region before and it was extremely special to be recognized by servers that have waited on us in the past. For a great meal with attentive service and comfortable surroundings, Region is a must.

We came after my daughter’s band concert, around 8ish. I made a reservation just in case and to get my points on OpenTable. We got seated right away at a high top table. Ambiance is nice. There’s a good selection of alcohol from beer, seltzers, wine and other spirits. We all enjoyed our food choices of rigatoni, salmon, spicy shrimp, bbq smoke chicken and impossible burger. I do recommend for family, friends, and work outing.
