I randomly stumbled across the Cliff House and decided to book. Everything from the ambience to the staff to the pianist was impressive. The historic building was beautiful, the food excellent and our steaks were just right. I recommend it for sure! Wait, only one thing would have made it better, we were seated at a very small inner room table. Would have preferred a booth or one of the tables in the various offshoot rooms. Second was the corn chowder. It was great soup for a cold day. Entree Local bison short rib... awesome portion, very tender, rich, and filling. Salmon cooked perfectly. Again, it is very rich and delicious. Dessert we had to have 2. Brownie and the banana foster bread pudding. Definitely will be back for the foster bread pudding.
