We got the last 2 seats at the bar - last minute - and had a wonderful time. Full jazz ensemble, right volume, delicious food and the bar tender was awesome. We will be back!

I proposed during our dinner, and not only did she say yes, but the entire staff went above and beyond to make the evening extraordinary. The food was outstanding. She had the scallops, which were perfectly cooked and full of flavor, while I enjoyed the chimichurri butcher’s steak, which was tender and expertly seasoned. We paired our meals with tequila and vodka cocktails that were some of the best we’ve ever had in the city—complex, balanced, and memorable. A special thank you to Michael Lacson, the General Manager, whose leadership and dedication to excellence clearly shine through in every detail of the restaurant. From start to finish, Michael ensured that our evening was seamless, personal, and unforgettable. His commitment to hospitality turned an already special moment into something magical, and we are deeply grateful. We also want to recognize Dan, our incredible waiter, who made the evening flawless with his attentiveness, knowledge, and impeccable timing. He kept our glasses full and ensured every part of our meal was perfect. The Franklin Room delivered a night we will cherish forever. I cannot count the number of visits we've had to The Girl and the Goat, but it continues to be a favorite for both personal and professional dining. I brought three colleagues, who have never been, to the restaurant for dinner. One diner is vegetarian, but there are menu offerings and options available to provide them with enough to eat. All three were quite impressed with the food. My only complaint would be our table was right next to the kitchen, which can be loud. However, we made due, and had an enjoyable meal. Service is always very good, and the cocktails are fun. If you're interested in dining, make sure you book way ahead, as there is almost no chance to get a table day of.
