Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Parkville

My wife and I treated a long-time friend who was in Maryland for Christmas. All of us thought the food was excellent. The BBQ Baby Back Rib serving size was ENORMOUS. I took half of them home for another meal. My wife's single crab cake dinner and my friend's Atlantic salmon dinner were just the right size. Our server, Mary, was a gem: friendly and efficient. The only problem we had was our entrees were served - NOT by Mary - well before my wife and I had finished our Soup and Salad, respectively. A closer attention to timing will be appropriate.

I cannot think of anything worse than having to work on Christmas day in a public facing role. So I was overjoyed that our server at Valentino's for our Christmas dinner was outstanding--smiling, polite, and perfectly attentive. The food was very good and the portions were huge. I had to take half of my dinner home and order my dessert to go. The special holiday menu with turkey, ham, and a vegetarian option was especially appreciated as grandma said that having a Christmas dinner at an Italian restaurant "did not sound like Christmas." Thank you to Valentino's staff for making our holiday a little less family drama and a lot more delicious.

It was an excellent experience. I started with a caprese salad and had the steak lover's fondue with a lobster tail. I received 6 Choclate Covered Strawberries as a Birthday President. I donated $10 to St Jude's and received a $20 discount card.

I needed a lunch spot with a variety of foods and ample parking for friends who were recovering from surgeries. This was a great location. The server was attentive. The crab and lobster dip was okay but the lunches we ordered were excellent. No complaints from anyone in our party. The only suggestion I have is to include the prices for all of the cocktails.

Great areas for large gatherings without distracting other diners. Friendly accommodating staff.
